The VC 1252 Varendah Chair is a beautifully made solid teak armchair that stands out with its tall, fan-shaped slatted backrest, the slats gracefully flare outward toward the top, creating an eye-catching silhouette inspired by traditional Sri Lankan verandah furniture. The wide, flat armrests provide comfortable support for resting your arms while reading, sipping tea, or simply enjoying the breeze.

The slatted seat allows natural airflow, keeping you cool and comfortable even in warm weather. What makes this chair truly special is the enclosed wooden storage box built beneath the seat, a clever design that provides hidden space for newspapers, magazines, cushions, or small personal items, keeping your verandah neat and tidy.

Made entirely from solid teak wood with a warm, natural finish that highlights the beautiful grain, this chair is naturally resistant to warping, insects, and moisture, making it ideal for both indoor and covered outdoor use. A statement piece that combines traditional style with everyday practicality, the VC 1252 is perfect for verandahs, living rooms, reading corners, or garden patios.

Care Instructions

Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Clean with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Apply quality teak oil or furniture wax every 6–12 months to nourish the wood and maintain its lustre.
